STATEMENT OF NEED/PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The purpose of this webcast is to enhance the collaboration between managed care decision makers and multiple sclerosis (MS) specialists with the goal of improving the overall quality of care for patients with MS. We hope to reach this goal by bridging gaps in communication between managed care decision makers and these specialists, creating a dialogue, and allowing both groups to share their views on coverage decisions for MS patients.

Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

Identify the clinic-economic impact of multiple sclerosis (MS)
Review the safety, efficacy of current and emerging MS therapies
Discuss the evolving advocacy and policy landscape impacting patients with MS
Explore utilization management and benefit design strategies for MS therapies to promote appropriate prescribing and enhance outcomes
