Ryan Bitton, PharmD, MBA graduated from Idaho State University with his PharmD and Boise State University for his MBA. He worked for Walgreens and then started work for a regional health plan. He works for an affiliate of UnitedHealthcare as the Senior Director, Pharmacy Services for Health Plan of Nevada/Sierra Health and Life (HPN/SHL). HPN/SHL has commercial, marketplace/exchange, and managed Medicaid lives. Ryan oversees the pharmacy department which includes the following on both the pharmacy and medical benefits: formulary design, formulary maintenance, quality initiatives, prior authorization, PBM relations, operational projects, and others.
