Dr. Wigginton is a leader in health-care innovation, specializing in a team-based approach to solving complex industry challenges through Lean principles. At Capital Blue Cross, he oversees strategy and clinical leadership for the Member Health and Wellness department, managing clinical programming across all lines of business. Before joining Capital Blue Cross, he was Vice President of Health Quality and Innovation at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana. With a medical degree from the University of Mississippi and an MBA, Dr. Wigginton has certifications in health quality, self-funded insurance and Lean Six Sigma.
