Dr. Gary A. Puckrein is the President and CEO of the National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF), a Washington, DC-based not-for-profit, nonpartisan organization that he founded in 1988.

 

NMQF is a research and educational organization dedicated to ensuring that high-risk racial and ethnic populations and communities receive optimal health care. In furtherance of a mission to reduce patient risk by assuring optimal care for all, NMQF integrates data and expertise in support of initiatives that eliminate health disparities.

 

Prior to NMQF, Dr. Puckrein achieved tenure as a history professor at Rutgers University.
