David Frame, PharmD

David Frame, Pharm.D. is Assistant Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan, as well as Clinical Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Specialist at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor. He is also Adjunct Professor of Pharmacology at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Frame's research experience is in the areas of molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, kinetics, quality of life outcomes, anticoagulation, hematology and oncology. He has been awarded grants from both the pharmaceutical industry and institutional organizations and has been honored with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Drug Research Award and the Eli Lilly Achievement Award, among others. Dr. Frame is a member of the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association Research Committee, the International Society of Oncology Pharmacists’ Publications, Education, and Research Committees, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer.

Dr. Frame earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from St. Louis University in Missouri and a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He then completed a fellowship in oncology at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Frame has published abstracts and articles in a number of peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, he has given numerous presentations on a variety of topics at national and international meetings and congresses.
